Description
Namaka is a Lagoon 440 built in 2007, based on the 2008 models. It’s a boat that has lived a very short charter life before being bought by private owners that have taken rigorous care of her and have made multiple improvements over the years. This can be seen throughout the boat, due to the cleanliness and very good general shape of the boat (hulls, equipment, and service logs).
When we bought Namaka in February 2021, we spent a month given her a refit based on our needs: new propeller blades (MaxProp 3-bladed foldable propellers), new windlass (Lofrans Project X1), new watermaker membranes, and full service of all engines (motors and generator) and air conditioning, etc.
During our 1.5 years sabbatical through the Caribbean, Namaka has always transported us in comfort with her 4 separate relaxation areas (flybridge, saloon, cockpit and forward cockpit under awning) and her 4 roomy cabins with separate washing rooms. Namaka is also a very secure boat with her hulls that perform much better that those of a Lagoon 450, but also her flybridge that provides a very good vision at distance to avoid fishing traps and coral heads, very common here in the Caribbean.
Namaka is outfitted with all the equipment that make this boat the ideal comfort cruiser for your family or guests in full autonomy: washing machine, electrical oven, watermaker, fresh water tanks with a capacity of 900 liters, 675 liters of diesel, air conditioning and a 9kW generator.
The maintenance of the equipment and engines has been very meticulous and documented at every stage
